Is the Magic 16k Windproof Umbrella automatic?
Yes — it opens with a button. You close it by hand.
What is the Magic 16k Windproof Umbrella made of?
It has a pongee canopy, fiberglass ribs, an iron shaft and a plastic handle. Fiberglass ribs flex in a gust instead of bending.
Is a straight umbrella better for heavy rain and wind?
Yes — a straight (non-folding) umbrella has a longer shaft and a bigger canopy, so it covers more and handles wind better than most folding umbrellas.
What makes the Magic 16k Windproof Umbrella windproof?
Its frame is built to flex in a gust, so it is less likely to turn inside out. Close it in very strong wind.
8 ribs or 16 ribs — what is the difference?
More ribs give a rounder canopy that is evenly supported, which helps in windy weather. 8 rib umbrellas are lighter and simpler.
Does the Magic umbrella change colour?
Yes — a print appears on the canopy when it gets wet and fades again as it dries.
Does the Magic 16k Windproof Umbrella protect from the sun?
Yes — its canopy is UV protective, so it works as a sun umbrella in summer as well as in the rain.
